Charlotte

Yolandie

Yolandie has always had a passion for the medical field which guided her to East Carolina University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She found veterinary medicine shortly after college where she worked in a family practice and then later in emergency medicine. She then went on to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Yolandie helped open the Charlotte office and has been a member of the Southeast Veterinary Dermatology team ever since. She also helps manage social media for the Charlotte office. When she’s not helping her furry patients, Yolandie enjoys hobbies that connect her back to nature like hiking and traveling. Our patients love when Yolandie is working with them because her fun and compassionate personality always makes them calm.

Chantelle

Chantelle earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Roger Williams University, Bristol, RI in 1997, after which she started her career as a veterinary technician. After working as a technician at smaller veterinary hospitals, she began work at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts in 2001 and had achieved her CVT by 2002. She worked as a certified veterinary technician, Hospital Supervisor, Clinic Supervisor, and finally, as Dermatology Technician Supervisor. In 2011, she moved to Florida, working as a certified veterinary technician specializing in the field of dermatology. In August of 2016, she joined the Southeast Veterinary Dermatology and Ear Clinic family. She is a charter member of the veterinary technician specialty group College of Dermatology Veterinary Technicians. In her free time, she enjoys mountain biking, traveling, and she likes to play with her kitties, Echo & Tango!

Mary

Mary joined Southeast Veterinary in Aug 2016. She has over 20 years of experience as a registered veterinary technician. She has experience in internal medicine, emergency and general practice. She lives on a mini farm near Hickory and loves to spend time with her family hiking or strolling on the beach. She also loves to go horseback riding with her daughter, Allyson, on their horses, Fancy and Rosie.

Jessica

I have always had passion for animals and interest in the veterinary field as a career one day. I graduated from Gaston college in 2019 and before making the switch to dermatology I worked in emergency and speciality medicine. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, spending time cooking or baking and hiking with my dogs and boyfriend. My fur babies include my 4 dogs, Zeus, Hades, Dixie and Gypsy, and my cat Marley.

Kim

Kim is one of our Registered Technicians who has been in the veterinary field since 1992. Prior to joining SouthEast Vet Derm she worked in daytime practice. She has been with SouthEast Vet Derm since 2014. She lives in Union County with her husband and two daughters. Her fur family includes two dogs and two cats. She enjoys weekends on the soccer field watching her daughters play.

Penni

Penni was our first technician at Southeast Veterinary Dermatology and Ear Clinic! She graduated from the Gaston Veterinary Technician program in 2002. She came to us as a seasoned daytime technician, who also specialized in veterinary surgery. Her favorite part of the job is being here for the clients and helping them answer questions about their pets and concerns that come up. She also enjoys putting her knowledge and skills to great use by helping the many patients we see! In her spare time, she enjoys enthusiastically cheering her two boys on the ball field! She also is mom to two dogs! She is happily married to her high school sweetheart.

Bryanna

Front Desk Manager

Bryanna has always loved working with animals and has been in the veterinary field since 2011. She helps manage social media for the Charlotte office and knows all too well the aggravation allergies cause animals since she herself has an allergy fur baby. When Bryanna isn’t trying to keep her one allergic pup from scratching, she enjoys reading, sketching, and enjoying time spent with her husband, family, friends, and pets.

Jessica

Jessica grew up in nearby Lincoln County. She has been in the veterinary world since 2000, graduating from the Veterinary Technology program at Gaston College in 2003. Her experience as an RVT includes working in small animal practices, a mixed animal practice, boarding and grooming facility manager and practice manager for the veterinary division of a working dog training facility. Jessica enjoys spending time with her daughter. Her family also includes 3 Collies and a kitty. She enjoys taking her dogs on walks, antiquing, exploring new restaurants and spending time with her family.

Brittany

Brittany has always had a passion for animals and helping others, she started working in the veterinary field in 2014. She was born in the Chicago area and moved to Charlotte in 2015 with her husband Josh. Her hobbies include trail riding with her horse Thunder, traveling and spending time with her husband and lively crew of fur babies.

Amber

Practice Manager

Amber came to work with dermatology in 2014. Before that she worked at a specialty and emergency animal hospital for 10 years. She started her career in the veterinary field in 1998 when she moved to North Carolina from Pittsburgh, PA. She is a published children’s book author who enjoys spending quiet time with her dogs and husband. She also enjoys going to estate and yard sales!

Anastasia

This is Anastasia’s first time in the veterinarian field, but she’s always had a love and interest for animals. She has resided in North Carolina all her life, in Gaston and Lincoln County. By having an allergy fur baby herself, she relates and understands what the clients and pets go through. She has a special spot in her heart for all things “Golden”. Which is why most of her spare time is spent with her Golden retriever and golden-doodle at the Lake or local mountain hiking trail. She is excited to be the first face you see in your pets care and is hopeful she will be able to assist you through the process.

Greenville

Erin

Erin is a graduate of the Veterinary Technology program at Tri-County Technical College. She joined our team in July of 2015 after being in a mixed animal practice for 3 years. In her spare time, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and dogs, being outdoors, and watching Clemson football.

Heather

Heather is from Irmo, SC. She attended the College of Charleston for two years and studied psychology before transferring to TriCounty Technical College for Veterinary Technology. She worked at Animal Emergency for 2 years before joining Southeast Veterinary in January 2013. Heather enjoys spending time with her husband, family, friends and her basset hound, Gump.

Stephanie

Stephanie has been working in the veterinary field since 2006. Before joining Southeast Veterinary Dermatology she has worked in both general and specialty veterinary practices. She has also worked as an instructor at Greenville Technical College for the veterinary assisting program. Stephanie and her husband have two children, a son, and a daughter. Her fur-babies include two German Shepherds, a Chihuahua mix, two cats, and three birds. She enjoys spending time with her family and hiking with her dogs.

Kayla

Customer Care Specialist

Kayla started her journey in veterinary medicine in 2015. She went to school at Greenville Technical College and graduated with a certificate in Veterinary Assisting. Starting at a mixed animal/exotic practice, she was quickly taught that client relationships are just as important as a relationship with the patient. When Kayla is not in the clinic, she enjoys going to concerts, gardening, and traveling. Her four-legged fur children include: Lilo the Boston Terrier, Stitch the Mini Aussie, 2 rabbits, and a cat named Jynx. Kayla lives with her husband in Greenville.

Alyson

Customer Care Specialist

Alyson comes to us with over 20 years of customer service and retail experience. The last 6 years have been in retail Human Resources. She’s been an animal lover her whole life and we’re very excited to start this new journey together! She is an avid DIYer and enjoys spending her time off with her husband, 2 boys and 2 Pug girls.

Lauren

I have been in the veterinary field since 1999. I knew as a child that I was going to help animals and I am lucky enough to have a job that I truly enjoy. I hold a special interest in dermatology and I look forward to meeting all of your babies!

Melissa

Melissa comes to us from Columbia, SC with experience in Shelter Medicine, Spay/Neuter, and ER/ICU. She is currently enrolled in the Vet Tech Program with Penn Foster in hopes to further her knowledge in this vast field. She is the fur momma to one beautiful orange tabby named Teagan who reminds her every day just how much helping animals, helps people.

Charleston

Meaghan

Meaghan came to Southeast Veterinary Dermatology in 2014 and since then has been promoted to our senior technician and office manager here at the clinic! She has been in the specialty veterinary field for over 15 years, working in both surgery and ophthalmology, but specializing in dermatology for the past 9 years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from William Paterson University in NJ. She worked as a veterinary technician in NJ from 2001 until she relocated to Charleston. Meaghan was excited to join SEVD. She brings a wealth of dermatology knowledge to our practice, but enjoys the new challenges she encounters here. She excels in (and enjoys!) all areas relating to anesthetic protocols, consistently proving to be an asset to the clinic. Meaghan considers continuing education one of the most important parts of her job and loves educating clients and fellow technicians alike. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and going to the beach with her sweet dogs, Griffin
and Metto (named after the Palmetto state!).

Amanda

Amanda graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.  She always had a passion for animals and found her calling as a Vet Tech while working for an emergency vet clinic.  Amanda returned to school and received an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology from Trident Technical College before joining the Southeast Vet Dermatology family.  When not at work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and their three dogs.

Paige

Born and raised in Charleston, Paige has always had a love for animals. From raising a variety of animals including horses, dogs and reptiles to volunteering with birds of prey, there isn’t anything she can’t handle. When she isn’t working with us, Paige is a part-time dog sitter and published photographer and author. Outside of work she can be found with her corgi at the beach or traveling the country.

Mary

I recently relocated to the Charleston area with my husband and our three dogs-Burns, Tito and Meg. I have 17 years of experience as an emergency critical care veterinary technician. I am thrilled and excited at the opportunity to learn more about dermatology since I have an allergic dog of my own. In my free time, I love training dogs. I have successfully trained Tito to be a therapy dog and love taking him wherever he is allowed to go.

Doug

Doug joined the SEVDEC team in 2018. A graduate of Trident Technical College, Doug brings six years of general practice experience. Before going into the veterinary field, Doug spent 13 years as a chef in downtown Charleston. In his spare time, he enjoys seeing live music and playing guitar.

Robyn

Customer Care Specialist

Born and raised in the Lowcountry, Robyn graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. With a passion for animals, she decided to head back to the veterinary field and joined our team in 2010. Robyn loves spending any spare time in the outdoors with her husband, daughter, and dog Gus.

Christy

Christy joined our Derm family in February 2020, coming to us with over 18 years of veterinary experience. She is new to the Dermatology side of veterinary medicine and is enjoying learning a new aspect of the field.
She has a soft spot for animals in need and devotes her heart and a lot of her free time volunteering/fostering for the Boykin Spaniel Rescue.
When she has some downtime, she enjoys anything water-related and crafting. On her to-do list, is traveling to Florida to paddleboard with the manatees.
Christy treasures the connections with clients and is excited about the opportunity in making new friends with the patients!

Columbia

Jenna

Jenna is from Chapin, SC. She graduated from the Piedmont Technical College Veterinary Technician Program, earning her license, in the Summer of 2020. While in school she served as the Vet Tech Club President. She began her career in shelter medicine where she gained even more knowledge and respect for the role pets play in a person’s life. She joined the Southeast Veterinary Dermatology Clinic in March 2021. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family, being outside, and teaching her dog Ryley tricks.

Sean

Before joining the Southeast Veterinary Dermatololgy team, Sean worked for many years at Riverbanks Zoo and Pawmetto lifeline. His appreciation and interest in the professional care of animals has grown since starting his career in the animal world in 2015. When Sean isn’t working he is keeping up with the University of North Carolina’s basketball and football team or hanging out with his dogs Chico and Honey. And cats Larry and Odie.

Torrie

Torrie joined the southeast team in November of 2021 after relocating to South Carolina from Virginia. Torrie has over ten years of experience in animal care and Veterinary medicine, working with various domestic and exotic species. She has most recently worked as a veterinary assistant with small and exotic animals. Torrie is Fear Free Certified and is currently working toward her veterinary technology degree.
